Today if I were to sing a song for God, I would sing the Magnificat –the song that Mary sang after receiving the news that she would be the mother of Jesus.

My soul glorifies the Lord
My spirit rejoices in God my saviour…

The planning of the 34th General Assembly has been a tough task, since 2004.

And here we are, we have finished, but we have just begun the journey of the 34th General Assembly.

The theme Your sons and daughters shall prophesy is already what we have lived.

We were challenged in the Women’s and Men’s Pre-Assemblies, in speeches by guest speakers,

The Spirit in me greets the Spirit in you Hallelujah God’s in us and we’re in God, Hallelujah!

I applied to be the delegate for ASCM to the GA because I believe the Church has a prophetic task, and I believe that if the table ministry of Jesus was to be lived by the Church the world would be radically different.

Greetings from SCM of Nigeria.

It is very interesting following the proceedings at the General Assembly through the GA Website. Though I felt very bad at having been denied the Canadian Visa, I am happy that I am not completely left out of the great event. I have been constantly following up the events through the web.
