Resolution on Iraq

Resolution on Iraq

10 Aug 2008

The situation in Iraq stays the most pressing issue in the Middle East as it needs immediate solutions. Along with the general disastrous social and economic situation in Iraq, the church is suffering as its members, priests and servants are killed and kidnapped.
The 34th General Assembly of the World Student Christian Federation decries the situation in Iraq, stands in solidarity with the Iraqi people in their everyday struggles, and condemns the bombing of churches and the killing of innocent Iraqi Christians. We affirm the immense courage of the remaining Christians struggling to live in Iraq.
