Prayer for the Assembly
Please join WSCF in prayer for the 34th General Assembly,
O God and Creator of us all,
we pray for all national Student Christian Movements and their representatives as they prepare for the 34th General Assembly,
that in confession and thanksgiving
they may share their understanding with one another,
and use this experience to rise up in prophetic voice and action
and with your help,
respond with vigour and spirit to the challenges of today.
We pray for the individual members of the Assembly,
that they may learn from one another
as together they face the demands you make upon them.
Give strength and wisdom to the World Student Christian Federation’s
Officers, Executive Committee and staff
and all those planning this Assembly
that they may discharge their responsibilities in accordance with your will.
May your Holy Spirit guide those who plan for the Federation in the coming years,
so that students of all lands may be brought nearer to you
and may act more fully in knowledge and obedience to your will.
