Rev’d Dr Setri Nyomi, General Secretary of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC) has sent greetings to the Montreal Assembly, giving thanks to God for WSCF’s long and faithful witness and its work for justice and peace in the world today.

Dear friends in the WSCF,

As you gather in your 34th General Assembly in Montreal, I bring you warm greetings on behalf of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC).

We in WARC have watched with thanks to God the long history of faithful witness of the World Student Christian Federation. The Student Christian Movements have provided real prophetic voice and been pioneers in the ecumenical movement.

In this era I have watched in admiration as your current leadership has responded to many of the challenging situations in our world today in faith and with courage.

Your theme “Your sons and daughters shall prophesy” has been brought alive in many ways. We pray that in this General Assembly you will strengthen your resolve even more to be faithful prophets who are poised to be God’s agents of transformation in the world today.

May God bless you in this Assembly.
